What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, the full amount of the booking will be charged. If you wish to cancel a reservation, please contact us at info@tastegirona.com.
I am trying to book a tour for my family, but it says there are not enough places. Do we still have a chance to attend the tour?
If there are not enough places for the number of people you are trying to book, please contact us, and we will do our best to make it possible for you to come.
How far in advance do we need to book?
To secure your place, we recommend you to book as soon as possible. The booking system closes the day before the tour, although you can always try to contact us via WhatsApp (+34 602 62 47 75) to see if there are any places left.
Can I book for a group?
Yes, of course you can. If you are a group of more than 8 people, please contact us at info@tastegirona.com and we will explain to you the possible options.
What does the price include?
The prices are all-inclusive, including all food and drinks and the accompanying guide. Tips are not included in the price, but they are not compulsory.
Are all ages welcome?
Yes, of course! Children between 5 and 18 years old will be offered non-alcoholic drinks.
Is the price for adults the same as for children?
No, children under 5 years old who do not eat during the tour do not need to pay. Children between 5 and 17 years old pay a reduced price.
What happens in case of rain?
The tour will still take place in case of rain, but we will try to stay indoors for as long as possible. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella!
I am pregnant, can I come on a tour?
We would love to welcome you, but please let us know your pregnancy restrictions before booking the tour and we’ll try to propose a suitable solution for you.
Can I still attend if I have a food allergy or a food restriction (vegetarian, vegan)?
If you have a food allergy or a food restriction, please let us know before booking the tour and we’ll try to offer you a suitable solution.
Is there a difference between the morning and the afternoon tour?
Yes, there are slight differences between the two tours. The morning tour is more focused on visiting small local shops, eateries and the food city market. The afternoon tour, on the other hand, is designed for those who want to experience a bit more of the city’s nightlife.
Where is our meeting point?
Our meeting point will be in Plaça Independència (in the middle of the square, next to the big statue).
How much food is there?
We are sure you will be full at the end of our gastronomic tour. So we recommend you to eat a little before attending one of them.
What do I need to bring on the tour?
We recommend you wear comfortable shoes even if we are not going to walk much, as we will be standing almost all the time.
How long will the tour last?
The tours last approximately 2,5/3 hours, and we will walk approximately 1,5km.
Where can I park?
The closest indoor paid parking is Parking Saba at Carrer Berenguer i Carnicer.
